From now on we will first create parts in TPE. TPE is an elastomer that creates flexible, rubber-like parts. With an impressive elongation at break of approximately 430%, the industrial grade material is well suited for applications that require a high degree of ductility.
The selective laser sintering or SLS process is a process for printing plastic powder using a laser. Unlike the FDM/FFF or DLP process, for example, no support structures need to be created to support the component. The surrounding powder in the printer provides sufficient support for the component. This enables a great deal of design freedom and allows functional components or prototypes to be assembled and manufactured directly. Other materials (PA11+ PP) are in validation and will be available soon.
